Programs
The content is the same from the weekly essay to the Council. What rises at each step is the help in turning it into behavior.
One conversation
Your Who Is Holding the Pen? result, read closely before you meet, then fifteen minutes together, live. The route in for anyone who was not invited.
On your own
The full year, one month at a time: a practice kit every month, the Daimon, and a community. No coaching.
By invitation or application
The year in a small room of peers. Two sessions and a private Reading every month.
By invitation
Direct work, one to one, when the work and the timing fit.
Why the limits
Every limit on these pages, from the number of Debriefs in a week to the seats in the Council, follows from those hours, and none is lifted to close a sale.
Why help matters
A change in intention moves behavior about half as far (a 2006 meta-analysis of experimental studies). Coaching shows a moderate effect across 37 randomized trials (a 2023 meta-analysis), and progress checks help more when someone else sees them (a 2016 meta-analysis).
The book explains the territory. The year is where you practice crossing it.
Scope
All of this work is coaching and education under Board Certified Coach standards. It offers no diagnosis and no therapy, and it makes no promise of health, income or relationship outcomes.
